How Is A Candle Tube Measured?
By inside diameter and inside height, never by length and width. Inside diameter is the jar or pillar at its widest point plus 4 mm, and inside height is the candle with its lid plus 4 mm. The table runs that rule for three jars and one pillar.

A tube does not need a partition insert, because a round wall touches a round jar evenly. A foam disc in the base is the one insert it takes, for glass that ships alone.
What Is The Tube Made Of?
Spiral wound kraft paperboard with a wall of 1.5 to 2.5 mm, which is three to five plies wound on a mandrel to your diameter. The outside carries a printed wrap at 128 to 157 GSM, the same paper as a rigid box, so full CMYK, foil and soft touch all apply. The inside is left as bare kraft or lined with white paper, and either takes an aqueous barrier against fragrance oil.
Which Lid Suits A Candle Tube?
A telescoping paper lid 25 to 40 mm deep is the standard, and it holds by friction on the wrapped wall. A tin end gives a metal rim at the top and the base and reads as a premium build. A rolled paper edge closes a tube that opens once and is thrown away. The table gives the three and the candle each one suits.

Does A Tube Protect A Candle Better Than A Box?
On a drop, yes, because there is no corner to take the load. On a stack, a tube carries weight down the wall and does not crush the way a carton does across its panels. Where a tube loses is the shelf. It cannot be shipped flat, so a tube costs more to store and move than a folding carton, and it does not take a window as cleanly. Rigid candle boxes give the same weight in the hand in a square format that stacks, and custom jar candle boxes give the lowest cost.
