How Do You Size Custom Soap Sleeves to a Bar?
Make the inside width of the sleeve 3 mm more than the bar width and the inside height 2 mm more than the bar height. Cut the sleeve length shorter than the bar so both ends of the soap stay in view.
Hand cut bars vary by 2 mm or more from one to the next, so measure the largest bar in the batch. A sleeve cut to a small bar will crack on a large one, and the board you choose matters just as much.
