Clear soap boxes show every face of the bar and suit melt and pour or fully cured bars. Clear soap packaging does not hold direct print well, so your brand goes on a sleeve or a label. After you pick the window type, its size and position decide how much label space remains.
How Big Can the Window on a Soap Box Be?
The window can run to within 6 mm of every fold and edge, so each panel keeps a frame of board around the cut. The 92 x 67 x 27 mm box for a 4 oz bar fits a front window up to 80 x 55 mm.
A cosmetic soap must show net weight in ounces and grams in the bottom 30 percent of the front panel. We stop the cut 21 mm above the bottom edge in that case, which leaves a window of 80 x 40 mm. Size settled, the shape of the cut is the part a shopper notices first.
